Rhodedendron confirmation please

    Im pretty sure this is a rhodedendron hope i dont get egg on my face thank you poppy :-?

    Doesn't look like a rhodie flower to me.....

    I agree with EJ as it doesn't look anything like the rhodie flowers I have. Any chance of getting a longer shot of the plant Poppy so that we can see the leaves?

    I don't think that's a Rhododendron either Poppy. I'd like to see a shot of the leaf. Is it fragrant?

    The flowers look very familiar Poppy. I think it may be a Syringa Meyeri 'Palibin' or Korean Lilac. They have a beautiful scent and only reach to around 5' in height.

    Ive looked it up on google eileen and the Syringa Meyeri 'Palibin' only has 4 petals mine has 5 :-?

    Ahh well never mind. It was only a guess so it's back to my flower books to see what else I can come up with.

    OK I think, this time, I may have found it for you Poppy. I would say that it is Deutzia 'Mont Rose' if the leaves are finely toothed.
