Two Saturdays ago there were robin fledglings all over the yard! They were sooooo cute! I was watering my neighbor's garden while he was away and they were hopping around his yard too. This little one posed so nicely, don't you think? Isn't he sweet? I get such a kick out of watching them as they learn to fly. robin fledgling ( photo / image / picture from daisybeans's Garden )
What a nice foto, Daisy. That shows his markings well. They are fascinating to watch...that's for sure. I wonder if you have any more pics...perhaps....
What a lovely shot Daisy of a very handsome young fellow. I love watching the baby birds out and about in the garden at this time of year. :-D
Just this other one of the same baby, Sjoerd. My presence made the babies and parents nervous. This little guy got caught on my chicken wire fence trying to get away! I went inside when I was finished watering so they could practice their survival skills. He's awfully cute, isn't he? robin fledgling in the lilac bush ( photo / image / picture from daisybeans's Garden )
Thanks Daisy...that is a REALLY good pic. It shows off it's plumage quite well. It is indeed a real cutie. Please keep an eye out for more foto opportunities there.
The baby Robins around here have fledged too. Here is one confused baby who followed me around while I was gardening: ( photo / image / picture from Canadian Chelsea's Garden )
Oh! He is too cute for words. I'll bet he'll be your friend forever now. This may sound weird, but I always feel like robins represent loved ones who have gone on... reminding me they're nearby. I guess because robins will come so close.
That really is a cute little thing, CC. Did you dig-up a worm and feed it? hahaha He probably would have eaten it.
