Roses in bloom!

    This weekend we actually had to deadhead roses! Our roses are blooming their heads off, and will until July when the heat gets them and they shut down until fall. This is one of my favorites, Bon Silene:

    All our roses aren't pink, but these were the ones protected enough from the wind so I could take a photo. I'll bore y'all with more rose pictures if the wind ever settles!

    Our roses are blooming, too. But I only counted 14 yesterday. They are Red Blaze climbing roses.
    Yours started earlier I think. They are beautiful. dooley

    Jane,..lovely roses,..i wish mine would hurry up and bloom as they are the main flower in my garden.

    Netty,..i hope yours bloom soon!,.aaaah its the shape and the scent,..and the colour.

    Dooley,..you are lucky as well with yours blooming!!.

    Do you know i love roses!,..do you know i am also glengarry23..lol,have a tea break and enjoy these.

    Such beauties already. I've been keeping my eye on my grandma's old rose bush. Spotted 3-4 buds. Hopefully soon I'll be able to share their blooms.
    Way to go Jane... can't wait to be bored by all your rose pics!

    Ooooooh roses... They look spectacular. I use to have some roses, then an animal ate the roots. Now I oogle everyone else's roses.

    I am sorry that the heat does a number on your roses in the summer. That's a pity.

    Gosh my roses are still thinking about coming into leaf!! What beauties yours are. I can just imagine a climbing Aloha covering my garden arch.
