Do you know what I did? I looked at the baby roses from seed and then scrolled really fast through the other photos! (I'm just too jealous of your beautiful roses and couldn't put myself through all of the envy right before bedtime!)
Now I have to ask... my baby rose from seed is surviving and have put on a couple new leaves since I've fed it... but it's not flourishing like your's.
    Do you have any tips/advice?

Philip, thank you for the rose tour. I don't often get to see roses as we live in the shade along with a lot of our neighbors. Great pictures.

Your roses are spectacular. Mine always struggle along with a pepetual case of black spot. I love all the different shades of pinks, apricots and reds. The smells must be heavenly with so many bloosoms. Thanks for sharing.

    My Roses Video,..Part 2.

    Hi SongofJoy57,
our memory remembers the scent of roses, grass, freshly mowed hay, wallflowers and herbs, but living with so many roses and other scents i get used to the luxury, its only when i have a visitor the penny drops.

    -------------------------------------------------------

    Hi Cheryl,
lol roses grow on you!,..i can imagine you skipping through my post before bedtime rather than see the roses.
Oh i was wondering about your baby rose,..in fact every time i tend mine i do,..since yesterdays post above i have pruned my largest baby rose of a side branch in order to encourage it to grow higher,..and again i gave it a feed of "Miracle Grow",..keeping it out of strong sun but still within a sunny spot with good air circulation yet away from strong wind.

    -----------------------------------------------------

    Hi Jerry,
delighted i can refresh your memory of roses!,..i just had the visitors from the Church call to get a supply of roses for the Church Altar so i rushed out with the camera before the good roses were all gone.

    -----------------------------------------------------

    Hi Jewell,
oh that black spot!,..i get it as well along with rust,..i do a hand spray with a general health rose spray,..it just about helps,..if i could get a whole day without rain then the spray acts,..otherwise it washes off.

-----------------------------------------------------The largest baby rose which i pruned,..and the cutting planted alongside,..on the right.

The second baby rose thriving in its permanent location,..it too was pruned of extra side branches.

There are six shades of pink roses,..in size from 4 inches to 5 1/2 inches,..the one below is a VERY heavy compact rose,..never fully opens.

    Hard to photograph,..vivid colour.

Mostly i get to enjoy looking and being awed at the beauty of the roses,..then the Church gets some,..but others go on the table at dinners.

They are so beautiful! That is so great that you share them with the church.
Your baby rose is doing magnificent! Mine has put a couple new tiny leaves but hasn't really grown much. It's been a few weeks since I gave it some MiracleGro. I guess it's time for another small dose. I do wonder about it's location.
It's in a bright room, but no direct sunlight hits it. But it does get pretty warm in there since it isn't air conditioned. Do you think maybe the heat is affecting it?

    Hi Cheryl,
as you only have the one,..taking chances and losing it is something you don't want to risk,..but for it to be indoors in itself is a risk,..they need air circulation,..however as yours is still smallish i would let it remain indoor for a spell longer just to protect it,..but you will have to put it outside in the very near future or it will not only grow but become leggy,..so have a spot in mind.

:D <- That's my face just now... Your roses are lovely! I don't bother with roses much due to our weather but I do enjoy seeing other people's roses. :D
