Let's see. Tues was Feb 1st, we got sleet,snow, rain and freezing rain. Wed was Groundhogs Day and he didn't see his shadow which predicts an early spring.Then also on Wed. we got rain and more freezing rain and all that crap froze solid. I have anywhere from 1 inch of ice to 3 inches of ice covering the ground. So Thurs. I am setting in my recliner watching the birds in the feeder, with a fire burning in the wood burner and a Robin lands on the deck rail. They another one and then a 3rd on lands in the tree. I think they put wayyyyy too much trust into the groundgog's prdiction!
