Put up the Christmas garland on the porch today. It is lighted garland and each porch rail post has it's own bright red bow. The reason I did it today you ask? I normally do it the Friday after Thanksgiving, but today it's 72 degreesand bright sun. Don't know what the weather will be like in 2 weeks. So up they went! Just won't turn them on till after Thanksgiving! :)

Shoot, here in Texas the decorations stay up all year, and the lights are turned on for 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and some holidays that must be particular to a family, or perhaps someone just hit the wrong switch!

No decorations here until after the 16th December. My daughter's birthday is on the 16th and we like to keep her day especially for her so the decs go up on the 17th.

Two houses from us all the outdoor lights and decorations are on, bright and shiny. Of course, it is in the 80's this week so I guess they need a little christmas.
