Today was really nice. Temps in the mid 70's and very little wind. To celebrate I did steaks on the grill, with baked taters and corn on the cob. The corn was store bought, but it was pretty good tasting. It wasn't hard or anything. Probably from Florida.

Ooooh! Captain, I haven't even taken the cover off the grill but the temperatures have been in the 50's. If it were warmer maybe. The middle(northern half) of the country always warms up first.

My hubby is in a hurry. He wants to plant the garden with some colder plants. It may be a little to early for it but it's not the first time he has done that. :D

Sounds delicious Capt, glad you weather is turning nice.

Some of our neighbors have been firing up the grills since late Feb. We don't even own one, used to about 25 years ago but hubby is just not a "grillin' man"

Because of our darn weather we are used to grillin' in the cold!! Poor Bret stands out there with snow hitting him in the face :D I can laugh at him because I'm warm in the house!! My celebration menu is ribs and pasta salad! That is how I officially welcome warm weather to our area. Sadly, it might not happen until July the way it is going :'(

I rushed it some more tonight. More corn on the cob, ribs, baked taters and green beans.
