    Oh no...not more snow! ( photo / image / picture from drissel122's Garden )

Sad sack squirrel seeking shelter! A bit of a tongue twister, isn't it? Anyway, we're covered, really covered with mounds and piles of snow. This little fellow took shelter in an old eaten away birdhouse on our oak tree. Poor little thing! I threw out some black oil sunflowers for them and made sure the feeder was full. [/img]

Awww... I feel so sorry for the birds and critters... though I guess they know what to do to stay warm. That's a great shot.

What a cute pic. He looks so cold. Bless all the critters, at least till they start eating and tearing things up!

I bet the squirrels can't understand why all the snow and bad weather this year...or is this your usual? I know we have had a fairly easy winter compared to all of last years snowfall. I am glad we only have a few more months to go with the chance of snow piling up...

Oh no...this isn't usual at all for us. Normally only a few inches of snow at a time. This was more than I have ever seen in our area of NJ. I threw out a lot of black oil sunflower seeds for the squirrels and birds. It seemed to tide them over pretty well.
