I went to our local dollar store to get some fall-themed decorations, and all they had was Christmas decorations! Honestly, Halloween candy all over the place, and Christmas decorations, wrapping paper, plates, etc. but nothing for Thanksgiving.
Santa, get your little red nose and reindeer out of my Thanksgiving!
Anyone else feeling rushed into a holiday?

Oh yes!! We've had Christmas films on the TV for a couple of weeks already. Adverts for all things Christmas and the shops are literally stuffed with Christmas stuff. The trees are up in our shopping centre too. For me it's just too soon.
When the children were young we didn't put decorations or a tree until a few days before the 25th. It's something we still do now and I think it makes Christmas that bit more special.
I prefer to keep holidays separate and celebrate each one individually.

Here in the UK there's the Christmas movie channel that's been showing these films 24/7 for weeks.

Yup! Some shops around here are putting their Christmas things out late September. We're not big on Halloween and haven't got a Thanksgiving celebration, but still... I can understand the shops selling DIY Christmas stuff for scrapping and such. Those things take time. But decorations and artificial trees? Gimme a break!

Our local walmart store was putting our Christmas in September!
