A spectaular Crocosmia, grows about 5-6 feet tall and is a delight to see.

I have some too, and I like them. but I think next year they are going to be isolated... they are just taking over my mom's old day lily bed.

Lucifers are one of my favourite flowers in the garden. Mine are budding up nicely and should flower in the next week or so. They make a real statement in a garden with their fiery red flowers don't they?

Wow, they look stunning, Petals! The name Lucifer is very apt, the red is so fiery you can almost feel it.

I have a few in my garden, but only one of them has flowers at the moment. The ones in my front-garden are usually the first to flower, but this year they somehow refuse to do anything at all! :'(

Wonderful foto's. It is so nice to see them up close.

I have several stands of these in my garden--they really do catch your eye when looking from afar
One stand is framed by one of the arches.
I really like these plants and look forward to their blooms each late summer.

Those are gorgeous. I have tried for two years to get them to grow for me, one year they got about 10inches tall and just sat there then they didn't come back the next year.

At first the title of this topic made me think about stepping outside into the heat we have now.

Pretty! I don't have this one in my garden yet. I haven't seen anything like this for sale in our local flower shop here. I wonder if I could get some from my friends.
