I have this scarecrow on the fence by the front gate. Dan says at night the face glows white and if it had a pitchfork it would be scary.

The next one isn't exactly scarecrows but close enough. I put the purple grass that I cut into the pumpkin.

Oh I like what you've done with the pumpkin!!! Sorry but for some reason scarecrows always give me the shivers - don't know why - maybe I was a crow in a former life!!! :D

I do believe the first scarecrow to be scary Dooley. The smile is unnerving  The whole arrangement looks great though, good job!

May I ask where the gnomes will be on Hallowe'en? I'm asking because this is traditionally their 'mischief high-time'. I recommend installing security cameras in the eyes of the scarecrow. They would never suspect that.

Oh, I like your scarecrows Dooley. You've done a nice job. I need to get over to the Botanical Gardens here -- this is the time for their scarecrow trail they have every year. I need to make time to do that.

How fun - it makes your yard very cheery for the fall. My kids and I have made the occasional one by stuffing old clothes and topping it with a burlap head - you inspire me to maybe do that again. The pumpkin-as-vase is a great idea too.

I'd like to make a fall display now that we have no bushes. Several activities are coming up so maybe I can get a few things. Wannabe

You have made me want a scarecrow. Wonder what I can cobble together. Doubt it will be as good as yours tho. Love yours.

I bought mine at WalMart for $6.84. They had several different designs. Dooley
