Second garden idea

    Hi Guys and girls, I have a question for you all I started my garden in april, I am in zone 6 Ok, that garden is over I all ready picked it all and put it up and froze most of it, But now I want to start another one, any ideas on what I can plant this time of year, in June, I cant find any thing brussel sprouts Nothing Do you think I could start them by seeds and they would get done before cold weather, I don't know , I guess I started to early for the first one I was so excited to get started, and know I pooped out on garden!!     If I were you, I'd search for the county agricultural extension office website in your area. They are usually associated with universities. They may have a suitable planting calendar. Look for something like: Yavapi County, Arizona agricultural extension office. Substituting your county and state of course.

    Check out local nurseries and see what's available and healthy. Sick looking plants means it's getting late and might not be worth trying.

    Sounds like you had a good crop of cool weather veggies and now it's time to plant the summer veggies. Beans, tomatoes, peppers, Okra if you like it,

    Brussel Sprouts need to be growing in cool temperatures, 45-75 degrees so you probably will need to wait until fall.
