Got a call from some gal selling security alarms. I told her that I would be the only person to hear it as I live out in the middle of nowhere. I also told her that I had 4 attack cats that patrolled the premises 24 hrs. a day. And if any burglers came along with food in their pockets, the cats would make toast of them. She hung up on me for some reason!
Oh, captain, I wish I could have seen the caller's face when you told her about the "attack cats"! We had a "alarm system" person show up at our door. When he saw I was carrying my pistol, he didn't seem all that enthused about going into his sales pitch! I was cleaning it at the time and it was unloaded, but what he didn't know didn't hurt me.
AHH Capt, how funny. We have pretty much the same thing going on, except our cats would most likely trip someone and then they would sue us for their pain and suffering I saw that happen not long ago, some intruder got shot and they sued the home owner). My sister stopped one morning a few weeks ago and called me to tell me she robbed my blind after she got done playing with the dog . She does seem to be a bit friendly.
We have alarms in our sheds. Great, except that you cannot hear them from in the house. Mind any burglar who could stop in there when one goes off, is either deaf or soon will be. The noise makes my teeth rattle.
Good answer. I know guy. they called cops. Someone was trying to steal his truck. He had been picked up for Drunk driving 3 times in past.Truck had tube that had breath test-before it would start.
