I just came from from Lowes with a car load of plants and noticed that one of the sedums that I purchase had a lone straggler piece of the plant in the pot~
Will this root if I stick it in soil???
    Or water??
    Or the trash??
    I can't recall ........

You can dip a 2-3 inch piece of Sedum in rooting hormone and stick it in a pot of rooting medium, keep it outdoors in a shady protected spot, keep it moist and it should root.
