It is always good to hear that seed saving is alive and well. It is amazing how seeds kept from favorite plants improve to a location over the years. This was a lesson I learned when I lost my scarlet runner seeds because of weather and my lack of seasonal awareness. I had to purchase new seeds and it will be some years to get beans that produce as early, with as many flowers, flavor, etc. as my old scarlet beans did.
