The Morning Glory seedlings will be ready for planting in a week or two. Yellow Siberian Iris in front of the picket fence and behind the wheel barrow. I want to know what happened to the two purple Siberian Iris that were blooming last year, so far all the buds are yellow. The bag of mini-daffs included three colorways, the solid yellow was pictured earlier-they all have 4-6 flowers on each stem. I was surprised that the clover planted in the faery chair last spring was the only plant that lived thru the heat of summer and the freezing ice of winter and is now blooming and growing.
Right there is a blue Scabiosa that I planted and clover that found it's way there by way of a bird, squirrel or the wind. I am going to get some petunias for it soon. I think the dark purple and red ones.
Your clover certainly looks very healthy Toni despite the extremes of the weather. I have a wheelbarrow in the garden too but instead of flowers it has strawberry plants in it.
Eileen, I was really surprised that the clover made it thru the winter sitting out there unprotected. Guess the faeries really were protecting it. Sharon, if you plant some Siberian Iris, stand back. All of those in bloom and a couple of dozen in the pictures that are not blooming, came from a bag of 6 planted about 5 years ago. Just wish the purple would bloom this year too. Katsback, the coffee cup planter (I don't drink hot tea :-D ) came from a mail catalog years ago. That is a small pot of Alyssum in it now that I need to actually get potted in the planter.
Is that a snowman I see poking his little head out in that picture? I love snowmen because I'm shaped just like them! Deanna :-D
Deanna, That is one of my snow-ladies. I found them on sale at Bed,Bath and Beyond after Christmas last year, they only had two left so instead of separating them I got the both. http://www.gardenstew.com/about3932.html
Oh, they are adorable! I'm glad you didn't separate them. Don't you just love a good sale? Deanna :-D
