    Hey guys,

I'm looking to improve my gardening this year after last years learning experiences both good and bad.

when the seedlings are sprouted now 2 cm's should i be pulling them out to leave the best one in the tray?

or leave them in and then seperate them when their bigger?

    thanks
    DAN

    Leave them alone .
    Why do you thin them?

What kind of seedlings are they that you are thinking of thinning out?
Depending on what they are I would be tempted to leave them a little longer to allow them to develop a good root system. You can then pinch out the weaker ones and grow the rest on.

I used to have the same problem as you did Danjensen until I discovered how to start seeds in paper towels in one of the topics right here in this forum.

Now I start all my seeds in kitchen paper towels and only transfer the germinated seeds to the trays for them to continue on with their growth. :-D
