I have some hens and chicks some one sent me, and some of them are growing tall, I have them in the house it was to cold to put them out, Do I cut them down or what, they dont look to good this way . What to do, thank you all very much Margie
It's probably too dark/warm inside, and they're looking for light. I am not sure sempervivums can be "trimmed"... They are succulent rosettes so trimming might hurt. No idea. If I was in your shoes, I'd probably still plant them out somehow, or place them outside in their pots. They're tough.
Chickens and hens I have seen mine do that out in the yard in the Fall. I just let them alone and they were fine the next Spring. I think if my little chickies did that in my greenhouse I would 'cut them down to size'.
hens and chicks thank you all ,I am still looking for more of these but I dont know what to do with these. I am wanting to start me just a sedum and chick garden this spring, Thank you Margie
