semps and hens and chicks

    I have some hens and chicks some one sent me, and some of them are growing tall, I have them in the house it was to cold to put them out, Do I cut them down or what, they dont look to good this way . What to do, thank you all very much Margie

    It's probably too dark/warm inside, and they're looking for light.
    I am not sure sempervivums can be "trimmed"...
    They are succulent rosettes so trimming might hurt.
    No idea.
    If I was in your shoes, I'd probably still plant them out somehow, or place them outside in their pots.
    They're tough.

    Chickens and hens

    I have seen mine do that out in the yard in the Fall. I just let them alone and they were fine the next Spring.

    I think if my little chickies did that in my greenhouse I would 'cut them down to size'. :D :D

    hens and chicks

    thank you all ,I am still looking for more of these but I dont know what to do with these. I am wanting to start me just a sedum and chick garden this spring, Thank you Margie
