I text a lot...clients, family and friends etc. Because of my work, texting is better for me than phone calls, and I hate to talk on the phone anyway, so it works on many levels. I use many of these abbreviations the right way which makes these changes even funnier!
Holy mackerel---I didn't know you elderly folk had your own texting codex. This is really good....but do you REALLY expect me to classify you as a "senior"?!! Come now Ronni---you are no senior.
Guess it depends on which definition of "senior "you're using, Sjoerd! I'll be 64 in April, plenty old enough to qualify for all kinds of senior discounts and privileges!
I love the senior discounts....restaurants, movie tickets, liquor store. I do text a bit and I refuse to use text speak....but those are funny.
I don't text much. Maybe 1 message a month. I can but don't like texting however I will remember the acronyms As an aside now that I am a senior I more than like and use all the discounts I can get! Figure I earned them all.
