This is another part of the deck. The second image (Bushtits) was taken before I fastened the berry branch to the tree part. The Junco is perched on the same trig after attaching the berry branch. The hairy woodpecker shows you the blue wire holding it. I don't show the fastenings usually, but this was the first time this bird came and I just grabbed a shot, The other shows it on a feeder log. The pictures are nice and sharp. How close to the birds are you when the picture is taken? Do you use a blind? Jerry
If there's such a thing as the afterlife then I'm coming back as one of the birds that visit your garden!!
I don't use a blind, I take most of the shots through an open window. I can stand outside on the deck near the wall. I can sit in a swing during the summer months. They are usually about 12 feet away at most. The birds are pretty much use to me now, I'm such a nice guy. : This shows how frindly some of them are. While filling a bird feeder by hand I had my first bird, a chickadee, land on my hand before I dumped the seed into the tray. A most interesting moment. Jerry
