Seven different sparrows.

    We get seven different sparrows on the deck through the year, if you count the male and females, that's a lot of sparrows.

    I didn't realise you got so many species of sparrow visiting your deck. I'm a little envious. I'd be happy to see just the House sparrow visiting here again.

    I spelt the Whit throated wrong, it should be white of course, that is rather rare out here. I had a picture of it in Beutiful BC Magazine once because it is not seen very often out this way. We would like to get rid of the house sparrows along with the starlings, although they are not around the deck very often, just when they are feeding their young.

    Sparrows are such happy and sociable birds. They are wonderful.

    It's funny how some of them always look slightly peeved at life. You take great bird photos Kildale!

    Frank-Yes, the last one (White Crowned Sparrow) definitely looks peeved.
