    We do have lots of woodpeckers but the Pileated Woodpeckers are so secretive. We never see them but we hear them.

    The female has come here for the last three years and feeds the youngster.

    Seven woodpeckers!! I think I'm lucky if I get a male, female and youngester of just the one species.
