This last month I have had continued and unsurpressed spring fever. It is a terrible disease that can't be treated except with time outside getting large doses dirty hands and equal amounts of fine misty rain and sunshine. Haven't been able to get my medicine in the right doses.

Have tried a little shopping therapy, but it has only made the fever worse. Got four new to me varieties of hostas and some seed sized jack-in-pulpit bulbs. Did get my hands dirty, but the rain was an over dose and the sun was not available.

My fever is so severe that thsse starts appear exceptional. Is there any hope for a healthy recovery? :stew1:

Spring fever in the garden is the type of illness whose improvemnt is marked by a distinct worsening of symptoms.

Come on down to Texas--I guarantee an hour or two of weeding will cure the worst case of spring fever (and I need the help)!

As much as we hate having Spring Fever... we sure love the remedy.
What other illness can claim that? :D

I am suffering too! The snow is gone (again) but it just isn't warming up! I can't wait to get busy out there. March is the month of steady PATIENCE for me...

Me too. We are suppose to get 2-4 inches more of #### today and then turn colder with blowing winds. :-x :(
I guess I will have to get out another jigsaw puzzle and bury my disgust in a glass of wine or two, or three. Heck after all that wine I won't be whining about the weather. Now what kind of wine goes good with a snow storm? Red I think. I am way to tired of seeing white. ;)

So nice to know you are not suffering alone. So sorry to hear of snow and wind. April will be here before we know it. I can only remember one April with snow here. We have been very mild.

I've been digging and planting and just when I get going good the wind comes up and my allergies kick in and I have to quit and go inside. Is there a cure for wind?

New Jack in the Pulpit? From seeds? Or baby corms? I have seeds I found last year and a large corm that was sitting on the ground. I have been wondering when to plant them.

With 8 inches if new snow on the ground I am not encouraged to do much with the corm but I might try the seeds.

Well I won't get into the where is Spring thing...(it's here but I won't tell) But I have been hearing a lot about wine so I figured I would join the party.
Red definitely for Winter, Pink Zinfandel for Spring, Crisp White for Summer and hot buttered Rum for Fall.
