I have a lovely small double fringed Shasta Daisy but the problem is when it is fully opened the flower heads droop. Even when it is staked the heads seem to be so heavy they droop. The plant is only about 18" high and I really do like it. any advice is appreciated

Are they getting full sun, 6+ hours per day, and does the soil have good drainage? They will tolerate dry to slightly moist soil but not soggy.

How hot is it? sometimes plants wilt down just to conserve the need for water, when it gets up in the 90's/30C. My plants here are droopy from the heat. some things look really bad in the afternoon.

I agree, it sounds like too much water, or heat.
Are they fine in the morning? Usually with heat, plants will recover with cooling temps of night. Just be sure you aren't overwatering to compensate. Check the soil a couple inches down to see if it is dry before watering.
