We had a doe that was limping down along the driveway this evening and it might have been the one that has been feeding under the mulberry tree. And I think I know why she was so thin. She had three fawns with her! They were old enough to have lost their spots. But they were running around in 3 different directions at one time. But she looked like she was limping more than the last time I saw her, if it is the same one. They were too far away to get pictures of them.

3 babies? No wonder she looks so ragged!
I'll bet they keep her on her toes and it's been so damp that her wounded leg is probably sore. I sure hope she's OK.
