You may remember the injured doe that I had posted pictures of about a month or so ago. Well she came back through the yard this afternoon with her 3 babys. They still have their spots but they have really faded. Just like children they were all over the place. But they got to the brush before I could get pics of them. I wasn't expecting them to come through this early in the afternoon. It's usually more towards dark when they come through.

What a lovely sight the family must have been. Three youngsters ia quite unusual here for deer to produce (normally it's only one but sometimes two.) Are triplets quite common in your area? I hope you get an opportunity to get some photographs of them for us. Is the mother still limping or has her leg healed now?

Having triplets is fairly rare. I have had deer coming through the yard for 30 years and this is the first set I have seen. Yes Mom is still limping. My wife says it's from stomping her foot at those 3 rambunctiuis kids !
