Shield beetle

    Just a very small beetle, about 1/4 inch, but has great coloring. You can see where it got the name from.

    There are a great variety of these colourful beetles around. I'd rather have some of them than the Red Lily Beetles I've been getting for the last few years.

    Very nice pictures. I like beetles as well, but most of all ladybirds/ladybugs :stew2:
