Hello All, First, I'd like to Thank those that expressed their wishes on my injury The road to recovery is coming along. The thumb is starting to heal, (still black-and-blue, and looks like it lost a fight with a meat grinder ). The finger is still splinted, but the stitches have been pulled. That is a story w/in itself. Oh well, life goes on. Have never tried to do much with one hand, especially the opposite one. I'm left-handed, and that's the one I hurt. Went out to do some yard work, (push the mower, run the weed-eater and hedge-trimmer) WRONG ANSWER. Very much more of this, and I'll look like Popeye on one side, and Olive Oyl on the other. My girlfriends son is coming over to run my chain saw for me. Oh, I'll make it, one way or the other. Am anxious to go back to work (Union rules). Am tired of finding things that need to be done. LOL! Fall is in the air. Squirrels are all over, and hunting season is on. Can't go till my hand heals. Shotguns and broken fingers don't mix. Everyone take care, and be very thankful for what you have at hand (no pun intended!) Love the site, Gardenator
I'm pleased to hear that you're on the mend but, please, take things easy until that hand of yours heals completely. I know it's boring not being able to do everything you'd like but things will rectify themselves shortly I'm sure. Take care.
