I have two raised beds in my garden. One has strawberries that will be in their third season this year. The other has been home to my tomato crop the last two seasons. I was thinking that this year, I should start a new bed of strawberries in the one that the tomatoes were in knowing that it will not produce much until next year, while we can still enjoy the fruits of the original patch this year. However, I have read that you shouldn't plant strawberries where tomatoes have been due to disease...is this true?
I think it is time to re plant the strawberries. I have never heard to not plant them where tomatoes were though. If it is the only place you have to use...Use it.
