I got this from my sis-in-law. She calls it a "Yellow Bird". But the one that I found called this "Potentilla fruticosa 'Yellow Bird'" doesn't really match it. Or does it?
Each stem has 4 leaves (opposite). The leaves close at night. I've been trying to reach her to get more info, but she's "out of pocket".
It's probably way to early for anyone to ID. Probably have to wait until it blooms.
    But... thought I'd ask anyhow!

Certainly not a Potentilla fruticosa, leaves are totally wrong for that. Looks more like a Mimosa leaf to me.

Thanks y'all. I'll keep trying to reach her and get more info. I just had to ask!
