I am pretty happy with how my side yard looks this year. When I am resting in one of those chairs with a glass of lemonade, I will be thinking of all of you Stewbies!

everything looks nice & green. Our yard has begun to get dry spots from no rain though my flowers seem to still be doing good. I see your hosta's have their flowers-looking good.

Yes! Come over for some lemonade! I will even break out the cushions for the lemonade chairs! ;)

So, all that rain we had this Spring = lots of green grass and happy plants, lots of blooms on the hostas. That's why I was hesitant to complain. Soon enough it will be hot so I figured I better get a pic while things are green.

Not much lush greenery around here lately! Just looking at your garden has cooled me off... even without lemonade!

DB it is beautiful. I also noticed two lemonade chairs. Thought I would drop by this afternoon and have a glass. :D :D Such lush foliage, everything is so green. You thought it would never stop raining, but look at the pay-off.

Our grass crunches when you walk on it but with two families using the well I sure don't want to do any watering for things you can't eat. Well, except for the smaller flowerbeds. dooley

OK, KG -- I'll have the lemonade ready!

Oh no, Dooley! I know just what you're talking about with the crunchy grass! I will have crunchy grass here shortly.

I wasn't actually "watering" -- I'm a stingy (or maybe lazy...) waterer generally speaking except for veggies and new flowers and pots. I never water my grass.... I turn on the sprinkler for the birds to fly through. They love it and I like to watch.

All the rain we had.... I don't remember my yard looking this green, ever. Had to snap it. Thank you so much for the nice comments everyone.

Maybe someone is watching from the tops of the trees!

Hmm, the pots.. actually that's a bed that I'm still working on after pulling out a bunch of ivy and trimming the lilacs suckers last year. I'm adding to it slowly. So it's sort of a mishmash of pots there temporarily, things I want to keep my eye on, things that could go somewhere else maybe... there is a geranium blooming (overwintered), there is a Sedum Autumn Joy, a pot of chrysanthemums, a pot of marigolds/celosia (maybe not planted all the way yet), a mystery plant... Just outside of the pic is where my larger herb pots are next to the porch.
