I've been noticing a few signs of spring here.
    1. daffodils coming up
    2. tulips coming up
    3. grape hyacinths coming up
    4. iris coming up
    5. robins bopping about the yard
    6. little red leaves coming on the rose bushes
    7. buds are swelling on the apricot tree
    8. Chance is shedding big time. I need to sweep up the kitchen about twice a day.
    9. the yard is MUDDY
    10. Coming home tonight the temperature was in the 50's instead of the 20's or 30's.
    11. I wore a jacket to work instead of a coat.
    12. I saw a blue bird. Not the large scrub jays that we have but a blue bird with a red breast like robins have. I haven't seen them around here before.
    Have a nice spring! dooley

Sounds lovely! I've got a few things coming up too, but I'm not ready to believe in spring yet. We might still have lots of frost and snow.

What a good posting, Dooley. That really gets me in the mood for spring.
Just reading down it, my smile just got bigger and bigger.

I got some of your signs to, I notice white flag iris blooming yesterday an daffodils, the roses, an one other thing POLLEN starting to be seen on vehicles. An today is Arbor Day, we will be giving away trees today in town. But I'm not getting my hopes up yet, Easter isn't here yet!

That promises for a great looking garden in the very near future.
    Great post Dooley
And Chance also showing signs of the new season coming in. Biita - Balder is your season thermometer/indicator - I love that. I never thought of my dog shedding as heralding in the new season. That is a great way to look at dogs malting.

I'm glad the weather is looking good for you there Glenda. Spring seems a lifetime away here in Ontario...

Spring sound good! Right now we are having torential downpours. Suppose to get 'really' cold 40 degrees-ha-ha. I know that sounds like spring to some of you folks. Hope everyone has a wonderful day ;)

Thanks Dooley, I needed a good cheerup. I have the faint flush of green in my grape hyacinth patch, the robins, the fat buds and the exfoliating dog. My carpets all look like they have frosting on them! I may just burn out my vacuum cleaner with this beastie, good thing for him he's so doggone cute or he'd be in serious trouble...

These are just signs of spring. I know it will be at least until the end of March before our last average frost date but thank goodness some things will bloom with snow on the ground. One year I had a picture of the daffodils peeking out of the snow. It will come. dooley

Yeah, like Biita my two dogs shedding are the only signs of spring here. One of my favorite signs is the smell...it always smells so fresh and clean when you've got your windows open for the first time. We have a lot of pine trees around and they scent the whole yard!

Spring won't be coming for a long time here. My first bloming bulbs here are snowdrops and crocus.
