Our younger sister who lives in Phoenix, Az. is in the hospital with kidney failure. They have spent two days hydrating her and have found a tumor on one kidney. They can't do much until they reverse the failure so they are giving her pain medication and hydrating liquids through IV's. Pray they can get it reversed and decide what will be the next action needed to be taken. She was having tests on thyroid tumors when they discovered the problems with her kidneys. This is Wannabe and my next youngest sister. She will be 67 tomorrow. What a way to spend a birthday! dooley
Dooley, may God work through the hands of the doctors and nurses who are caring for your sister, to find the best way to deal with her situation. Hoping that she may feel much better and your family strengthen one another.
Bless you, and all your family. I'll add your sister to our prayer concerns at church. Lots of folks will have your family in mind.
Tell your sister that we're all behind her and wish her all the very best. I hope the doctors can rehydrate her and that the painkilers give her some respite until they decide what is going to happen next. I'm keeping everything crossed for a positive outcome and that she will be able to have the treatment she so badly needs.
Wannabe is okay, it's our sister who lives in Phoenix who has the problem. She is registered on Gardenstew as beetle. She doesn't post though, just reads. dooley
Sending healing thoughts to your sister. I also added some information to the subject line to maybe prevent anymore confusion as to which sister we are thinking about.
Her daughter posted that she's doing better but they don't know what caused it. They think it might be some medication she was taking for her thyroid. That figures, give you medication for one thing and cause something else. She's still in the hospital and grumpy because it's her birthday. dooley
