Some did Very well,..others went by the wayside,..as did some owners. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7W5xAVydW0&feature=em-hot-vrecs ( photo / image / picture from Philip Nulty's Garden )
I enjoyed that Philip - a few slip ups there eh? As long as no dog or owner gets injured then it's all good, clean fun to watch. These Border Collies are amazing. They are so focused on their owners and what they are doing. I've actually watched these types of agility competitions and marvelled at the sheer speed the dogs get around the courses. Best of all they actually enjoy what they are doing.
I have a friend who does agility with her dog Ditto, a border collie much like these in the video. Carol's been doing it for several years now, and has traveled all over for events. Ditto is one of the most hyper dogs I've ever met lol! But he does exceedingly well in the various comps apparently.
We had a border collie growing up. He just showed up at our house one day and never left. No one claimed him and we kept him. Nice dogs.
Hi Eileen,..it was enjoyable to view in slow motion,..i was thinking like you,..hoping none of the dogs were injured though i think some of the owners had a few bruises ,..yes looking at some of the dogs expressions they nearly smiled with enjoyment. ====================================================== Hi Ronni,..i am sure your friend has being captured on video someplace,..it would be nice to see Ditto in action,..Border Collies are so good at remembering just how to perform,..seeing them herd sheep is awesome. ====================================================== Hi Carolyn,..that was a great bonus for you,..imagine nobody ever claimed him,..i bet he had a better life with you,..no wonder he never left.
