We have had this probably 15 years or more. So any rememberance of what this is, is long gone. A closeup of the bloom. moderator's note: added a more descriptive title to topic moderator's note: moved topic to more appropriate forum
No, the leaves aren't right for forget me nots. How about Brunnera macrophylla ? Brunnera macrophylla (Siberian Bugloss)
I agree with Eileen that they are Forget-me-nots. The sea of them is forming now in my lottie and a few are blooming already. I saw the first honey bee on them today!
Oops what I should have said was False Forget Me Not which, of course, is Brunnera macrophylla as Netty said.
Definitely Brunnera, wish they would stay alive in our garden. There are a lot of new named forms around these days. Am I the only one who detests the ordinary Forget me not? I wage war on the ubiquitous seedlings and it has never to my knowledge flowered in this garden in 14 years.
I love those little flowers. They are early to bloom and continue for the longest time. I have a few pink blooms on them in a few places.
Yep, that's the Brunnera alright. Aren't they the prettiest little bloom? I adore them. We call them "Forget-Me-Not-sister" since the blooms are like forgetmenots.
