We have collected Nativities from around the world, and now have 35 which we put out at Christmastime. We hope you enjoy looking at a few of them! Peruvian nativity ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) We especially like this one because of the llama on the left of Mary, and the charming expressions on the faces. Carved gourd ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) This carved gourd from Africa holds a surprise-- Inside the carved gourd ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) A night and a day scene of the Nativity. Caribbean nativity ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) This woven grass Nativity is from the Caribbean. I can't imagine the nimbleness of the fingers that made it! Peruvian musical nativity ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) This Holy Family from Guatemala is obviously very musical! Guatemalan nativity ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) This nativity from Guatemala has a couple of anomalies. Can you spot them? It's still charming, even if a little time-line confused. In His hands ( photo / image / picture from marlingardener's Garden ) And this one just touches my heart, somehow. It is from Mexico. Happy holidays to us all!
