I posted this picture when I was trying to figure out a way to resize pictures and kept getting very small ones. Glenda says the small goat in front belongs to her. It was half the size of the back one when it was born on a cold day in February. They took it inside and it became a pet. It follows the kids everywhere or the adults too for that matter. Then, when it was bigger and they put it in with the other goats it became an escape artist. I had to move the confederate Jasmine off of the fence and onto a trellis because it became dinner for her every time she got near it. Small goats (for Glenda) ( photo / image / picture from dooley's Garden ) She's almost as big as the other two of the triplets. The male has moved to another field as he started chasing the other goats trying to mate with them. He was only three months old and not quite big enough but he sure tried. dooley
Awwww... such a cute photo and story. I bet it made Glendann smile! Also... so glad you're back to posting photos!
I'm not a fan of goats, but that photo could change my mind. Too bad about the Confederate jasmine, but it does show that the goat has good taste (not chewing on a Yankee flower). I've heard the expression, "Randy as an old goat," but I didn't know it applied to young ones, too. That boy is ambitious!
ThanK you Dooley She is a cutie.did you get any of my Carolina Jasmine or look to see if anytook root.get some cuttings and see if they will propsgate.Bitsy is not so small any more she sure is a cutie.
Glenda, Bitsy is still an escape artist but she usually has the help of one of the boys. Then, she runs around the yard after them. But, if Tammy gives the ones still in the pasture a treat she runs to the gate to get back inside. She does stay outside at night now. She is full capable of taking care of herself now. dooley
