Small pickings today

    Here is what I have picked today. This is the second pick of Okra and the fourth pick on the green beans.. The pole green beans are about four inches now, so soon to come.

    The squash I have talked about... :'( Didn't make it. It was way to bad and everyone of them had a worm or more in them and they looked horrible so I had to pull them. I guess I had planted my onions to close to them in the beginning cuz the never popped up. Guess the leaves covered their sunlight?

    Mmmm...nothing like fresh picked green beans! I've never tasted Okra.

    Lucky you being able to grow Okra, I love it and try time and time again, I just don't think it is warm enough here in the UK.

    Lovely beans! Ours are finished, as are the squash. Bugs didn't get ours, a hard freeze did. I envy you pole beans since I've tried them several times and failed miserably!
    It is nice to know there is a vegetable garden somewhere still producing. Thanks for sharing the pictures!
