This little plant grows to about 1 - 1.5 feet and doesn't need much attention. I had a whole bank covered in it, trimmed to shape, however I've had to do away with it. The seeds get airborne and thus, germinate in our bushland, even in the harshest conditions. I'm going to keep some in pots where I can control it.

The flower colour (on my monitor) isn't quite correct. It's a deep salmon pink in real life, more like in the last photo.

I call it Anne's plant, because I got the original plant from Anne's place

    ;)

It's very pretty. I think I've seen those as house plants here, but have no idea what they are. :D

Oh I like it, plus the fact that it is so hardy!

Good morning, we have that 'dear' little flower here, it travels very quickly and survives in gardens where people say 'isnt it pretty?' but it is a weed.I will be waiting for the ID too.

That's the height...the spread is infinite, if you let it grow that way ;)

PS. the trumpet like flowers are around one inch across at the widest part.

    Got it!!!!!

(Acanthaceae) Barleria repens ''rosea'' or common name Rosy Lips. Apparently originated in South Africa.
