We were at the grocery store this morning and I was setting in the car in the shade. I got to watching this sparrow. He was setting on the railing of the cart corral. I new car would pull in and after the people got out of it and walked into the store, he would fly over and land on the front bumper. After he got all of the bugs cleaned off the grill, he would fly back to his perch and wait for the next car! Fresh meal and easy to catch too!

And what a nice service your grocery store doesn't know it's providing! Don't you just love the things that fall into your lap when you are just sitting?

We've got those smart birds here too, mainly sparrows, but I've seen a wagtail do it in a ferry queue.
