Snow at Last

    Finally, some snow here. It doesn't happen often so we enjoy it. Schools out today and tomorrow. We are fat with food and heat and blissfully lazy.

    May get several more inches today. If so, we'll go out with our pocket microscope and look at individual flakes. Fascinating!

    Nice shot Bethie. That kind of snow is really pretty. We had snow squalls yesterday that dumped another 6-8 inches on us. THAT kind of snow is NOT pretty!

    That looks like the kind of snow that you can hear when it falls,
    the sort that squeaks softly underfoot.

    What a beautiful shot of your snow Bethie!!! I go looking for individual snowflakes too, trying to prove the scientists wrong, but have never found two the same yet. I also like to look for animal tracks in the snow. :rolleyes:

    Pretty pretty postcard pretty. Very jealous indeed. We had a couple of millimeters that melted as quickly as it settled. Lovely.
