Well... we got snow...It was very pretty... but there wasn't much accumulation. And the sun melted most of it right away.
Here's a trace of the white stuff on the Morning Glories

And a bit left on top of the plant's winter home (tent). I'm sure glad they were tucked in... temps dropped to the mid-20s.
    Brrrrrr

Isn't it fun to get at least some snow and so very sad to see it disappear almost before you realize it's there.

In the 20 years I lived in the mountains of New Mexico... I've had my share of snow! It was funny to see/hear everyone here "freaking out" about a dusting! But in their defense, you don't get much snow in these parts.

We found it strange when folks down south(London) were freaking out at the first signs of snow. I guess we Scots are made of sterner stuff than them as we only panic when snow reaches over three feet deep!! :D :D

Most times up here when we get snow, it starts out as rain/freezing rain and by the time it turns to snow there is a good 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of ice on the streets. We know that we don't know how to drive on ice safely so we stay at home. ;)

Someone a few years ago did a survey of the drivers who ended up either wrecking or sliding off into a ditch during one of our snow/ice events and the majority of the drivers were from up north. The natives were snug in their homes ;)

We got our first snow today, only bout half an inch, but youd think people have never seen snow the way they drive! Accidents already, part of the highway backed up for 8 miles this morning, people doing 20mph on major roads...oy

The snow just started lightly falling here in southern Ontario a few minutes ago. It seems to be helping with my lack of Christmas spirit a wee bit ;)

The morning glories look rather pretty with that snow on top of them. :D

I missed the snow when I lived abroad and there weren't any. Up here we're used to having it every winter, but even so there are lots of accidents after the first snow fall. People just forget how treacherous it can be. Ice is horrible to drive on, and with snow on top, well...
