YEEEEHAW!!!! We are having a wintry mix, possibly the only one we will have this winter but at least we are finally having ONE!!!
No accumulation expected, it starts raining that makes the air cold then it sleets and spits out some huge snowflakes, then the rain starts again and warms the air up....repeat cycle every 20 minutes or so for the next 5 -6 hours and you know where to find me overnight.

This is the roof of Randy's truck.

At least someone is having winter. You might need a few more snowflakes to make a snowball. While it is cold, seasonal snowfall is on pace for a new record.

We had sleet for about 2 minutes. Rain is supposedly on its way now with 80% chance tomorrow... my day off work. :(
Oh well... at least the weekend was sunny... and we'll get more moisture for the area. I'd better not complain (too much).

This is what I woke up to. Tomorrow, back up in the 50's! Crazy weather.

Wow, you have had it all, Toni! We are getting rain, blessed rain but no sleet, and thank heavens no snow.
Okie, if I woke up to that I'd lay down on the carpet and bawl my eyes out. :'( (I served 25 years in upstate NY and have lost my appreciation for snow).

The snowflakes on the truck roof were the extent of our snow. As usual we were, of course, in the sparsely populated section of the snow clouds and then there was only drizzle for the rest of the night. Still drizzling this morning.

I would have loved to wake up to a scene like yours Okie, snow and trees instead of neighbors. Like one of the most useless football teams in the state say at the end of every season....Maybe Next Year!

The snow has stopped but it's drizzling rain with a little sleet now. Supposed to be back up to 50 tomorrow. I'm orginally from northern Ill. so to say the least, I DON'T MISS SNOW!
