I suppose that you have seen enough snow, but I took these pictures this morning, and thought they were worth sharing. Hope you enjoy.

    Absolutely beautiful.
I'm always amazed at scenes like these, and no, I'm not sick of seeing snow. I've only seen snow a few times in my life. Enjoy your winter wonder land.

Can you see me there?, second picture, right hand corner of the deck leaning against the tree, cup of coffee in hand thoroughly enjoying the beauty of all I see...if I imagine real hard I can feel the coolness and hear the silence.
And then the image is gone, destroyed by the 'boom box' on wheels that just thundered down our street.

Thanks for the pictures Tom, I never get tired of looking at snow...pictures or real life.

How much snow did you get? We must have gotten about7-8 inches here in upper mich. The snow on top of the pine trees just made it look like a white mountain. We're still waiting to be plowed out of our drive, though we're usually one of the last ones to be done.

It's beautiful here too this morning, although we didn't get as much snow as you. It's sounds like south of us really got hit hard. It's so crisp and clean out there this morning. I just filled my bird feeders for the third time this week (they're really hungry at this time of year!) and did a little shoveling. We're still waiting for the snowmobile trails to open here, and I can't wait to get out there. THINK SNOW!!!

    I love your outdoor fireplace!

    Those are pretty pictures Tom.
Snow always looks so much nicer when it's not here LOL
The snow passed us by last night and we got rain instead.

Geeez,,lol. I live in the Artic an not one snow flake in like a month now. its been temps in the mid to high 40's until lately now were dropping fast, but its still just rain for us. I guess enjoy it while i can because once it does start to snow, it won't stop until about mid April.

Very pretty pics Tom. probably by the end of January we will have double that, plus more. We should have light by then so i can take some pics.

Biita...we've got good friends who live in Alaska, and they're living in the dark now, too. The sun doesn't rise now until after 10:30 AM. It must be hard for you guys to get motivated in the morning...it would be especially hard for me as I'm not a morning person. When we visited them last fall, we couldn't believe all of the drive-through coffee stops all around...they drink a lot of coffee up there! We hope to visit them in the summer next time, when it stays light until almost midnight. Enjoy this cozy time of year!

Strangely enough we haven't had snow here at all in Scotland so far this winter. I find myself willing the white stuff to fall instead of the hard frosts and rain which is all we are getting.

This is the way I like snow. In pictures from somewhere else. We used to live in Wisconsin and I have shoveled my share of it. dooley

Lovely photos Calomaar! Just keep them coming, we haven't got any snow either, only rain and wind.
