Well I guess our Scottish summer is over!! :( There was snow today on the Cairngorms and Ben Wyvis. I also heard that the summit of Mount Snowdon (in Wales)is covered in the white stuff too.

It's sort of hard to think snow when we are having such hot weather. 100 degrs again today and probably tomorrow. But, we drove through snow in Flagstaff, Arizona one June 12th.
I hope those places aren't too close to you. Keep warm!

Oh Yuck! It seems like we just got rid of that stuff. Is this normal?

Snow? That is a dirty 4 letter word Eileen and I don't want to hear it again until at least December! :D

Are you sure that Scotland isn't located in the southern hemisphere where winter is about to begin?

Snow? I thought we wouldn't hear its name until at least October. But June?

Oh, dear. :( We had snow in the mountains a week or so ago, and we've had snowfalls in June too. Mother Nature does exactly what she wants to I'm afraid.

    Shocking Eileen!
I would love to see it.

I have family over in Scotland tuffing about at the moment and just e-mailed them--they are going to be in for a surprise.

Thankfully most of the snow is staying in Wales and up in the highlands of Scotland. I really don't want to see any here for at least another 4 or 5 months - if at all!!
I do remember a year when my eldest son drew back the curtains on his birthday (1st June) and we saw enough snow on the ground for him to build a snowman.

It wouldn't happen to be 1987 by any chance? We built a nice snowman during Pentecost that year, and it was June.

You know what... I think that sounds kinda good right now. Maybe I'll see if I can book a flight out there with Toni!
