I bought a snowdrop anemone yesterday. I read up about this plant and many gardeners call this plant 'invasive'. I don't mind that at all for my backyard - especially since it has such beautiful flowers. But I was wondering if this plant will do well in a container too? I am really looking for a few perennial plants to grow in my containers. I have very bad luck growing plants in containers - either they die or they don't do well. Now I want the anemone to do well - should I plant it in the ground? Or is it a good container plant too?

BTW, I also bought myself a Bleeding heart plant yesterday. YAY!! :)

I have a snowdrop anemone. It is very pretty in the spring. Having said that, it is extremely invasive and sometimes I wish I had put more thought into where I planted it. The hardest part of growing it in containers would be overwintering it.
