This photo was taken at the end of December, taken after a storm that broke our all time record for the most snow to fall in the month of December here. It was absolutely beautiful all around on this day...you couldn't even see the evergreen branches beneath the snow! It's been a great season for snowmobiling so far. Think snow!!!!

That is absolutely beautiful. Looks like a Christmas card or postcard. Thanks for sharing.

    Kasey that photo is wonderful.
Montana had 22 inches in a week the first part of Dec and Heather said it has snowed ever day for so long she lost count .It snows and melts and freezes then snows again the next day.She is a true Texan she is sick of it now.

Thanks for the comments...more snow is predicted for this weekend, and it's getting more and more difficult to get wood for the fireplace from our woodpile. I have to shovel a path for my wheelbarrow to get through, and then shovel off the wood itself before hauling it back to the house. Wood does warm you 4 (or more!) times...when you cut it, stack it, haul it, and burn it!

Eileen...I've been in touch with our new-found Scottish friends in Dundee since visiting there last June, and she's been filling me in on the cold, wind, and snow there. She enjoyed the pictures that I sent her of my husband blowing snow and on his snowmobile, as that's not something you have there.

I am getting really tired of this white stuff.....especially when I have to do the driveway clean-up...My husband is in sunny California this week in 82* weather and we are in a real cold snap this week..hopefully we won't get too much more snow..

I am desperate for some snow, so I am turning a little green at the thought of you having so much, I do think though i would be sick of it if we got as much as some of you do. Lovely photograph and snow mobiling sounds great fun

That's a beautiful scene. Looks like you have plenty of wood to keep you warm!
