Tango curled up on my lap. And that lump near Tango's butt? That's Jazz, curled up UNDER the covers, her favorite place to be. See? River getting Jazz kisses. These are cat beds/sacks, which are my dogs' favorite beds to snuggle in Snuggled together in one of their many beds. This is actually the bed I put in the car when we go somewhere. I put it on the front seat, and plop them in it, and they are so good about just staying put while we drive around. Here, here's a shot through the car window. They're at attention, waiting for me to get back in the car because they're excited to go out!
When I pass on I'm coming back as one of your dogs Ronni!! Don't they look so cute and cosy in their beds? :-D
Too cute! Love the idea of the cat bed/sack. Will have to look for one. My little California girl needs warmth. Amber and Buddy ( photo / image / picture from Jewell's Garden )
Jewell, they're wonderful for my two. Chis are not cold weather dogs, so even in the summer, when we have the AC running, they like to burrow. But Tango and Jazz are pretty small....Tango's 2.9 lbs, and Jazz is 3.5 pounds, so they fit into the cat beds really well, with lots of room to spare. Sometimes I have to double check to make sure they're even IN there, because they don't make much of a lump under the fluff! Amber doesn't look to be any bigger than the cat in that photo, and those snuggle sacks are made for cats, so she should fit fine. I bought mine online very cheaply, at PetCo I think it was, but I'm not sure they sell the plain ones any more...plain as in without the crinkle material sewn in...they're for cats after all. But you can custom order one online. I've been thinking about doing that for my two. Here's a link: http://www.karenskottage.org/catshirts.html Etsy has sellers that make them too, but they're more expensive there from what I've seen. I've wondered if *I* shouldn't just make a couple. They're not that hard from the looks of the ones above in the Karen's Kottage collection.
