Here we are nearly in November and still there is so much colour in the garden and the temperatures are unseasonally high. Here are a few shots of some of the flowers still going strong in my garden including one of my azaleas which thinks spring has sprung ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden )
Magnificent! You truly have a lovely garden. I hope the warm weather lets you enjoy several more weeks of your colors.
Gosh you really have a lovely display of flowers Pat. Maybe I should think of moving down south to Hertfordshire as there's not much flowering up here in Scotland at this time of year. We've had an exceptionally drab and wet summer and autumn with so much rain that I think I'm developing gills and webs between my toes!!
Thanks everyone. I also have penstemon, kaffir lily, pansies of course as they bloom all through the winter, and hebe. Amazing I think for this time of year. Oh yes...and I have one busy lizzie which has seeded itself and managed to avoid the dreaded disease that killed off all my others this summer
November....and still lovely colours in the garden ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden ) ( photo / image / picture from Gardengirl's Garden )
Hi Pat, beautiful blooms for the time that's in it,..i like the way you have set the containers along the side of the path or driveway,..thanks for sharing.
Gorgeous colour! A feast for my eyes but not very good for my pending winter depression. I hope your weather will co-operate with you and the blooms.
The containers are in the back garden Philip alongside the path by the bungalow. The green containers in between contain three layers of spring bulbs: bottom - tulips, middle - tete a tete daffs and top either crocus or mini iris. I am hoping to have a good show when spring arrives, that's the theory anyhow We have had to put strings and stakes in the containers to stop our naughty cat from digging in them
Hi Pat, imagine having a pack of felines like me,..i had to cover everything with chicken wire,..if they were not digging up bulbs they were sleeping in containers with flowers, .
