I've just spent most of the day getting these piccies for you all. Hope you like them. I'm off for a shower now as I accidently slipped into the pond while trying to get the best shots possible.
Brilliant pics Eileen! What are those critters? (my pond wildlife knowledge is hardly up to scratch) They seem to be mating And how did you get this shot? It seems very high but it is probably an illusion of sorts. Ooops! Suffering for your art I see Thanks again.
That last shot was the one before I slipped into the water Frank. Not an optical illusion it was high and I overstretched - thank goodness the camera didn't get wet and I got my shot first!!!! They're Large RED Damselflies btw. 8) Pity that by tomorrow they'll probably both be dead 'cause after mating and laying eggs (which the female is doing in the second piccie) they expire. :cry:
